Garden Design Course Locations
Currently Garden Design School use two training venues in the UK
for all our garden design courses: Painshill Park, Cobham, Surrey and
Bristol University’s Botanic Garden, both inspiring gardens in their
own right.
Painshill Park
Garden Design School is proud to be able to offer
garden design courses at, and the opportunity to study within the
inspirational setting of Painshill Park. Painshill is a tranquilly
beautiful, carefully restored 18th century garden, set in 160 acres.
The stunning landscape, created by the Hon Charles Hamilton, a painter,
plantsman and brilliantly gifted and imaginative designer, is regarded
as one of Europe’s finest.

Painshill Park is located approximately 15 miles (24km) from London and can be easily reached by car, train or bus.

Bristol Botanic Garden
Another stunning training environment, the Botanic
Garden occupies a 1.77 hectare site in the grounds of a beautiful,
historic ‘arts and crafts’ building – The Holmes – which was built in
1879. Garden Design School classroom / studio sessions take place in
the Linnaeus Room. Garden design courses taken here are guaranteed to
inspire!
