We understand that choosing to embark on a career in garden design, and choosing the right College can be a tough decision, so here at Garden Design School we offer Taster Days. They give you the perfect opportunity to meet the team, and get a flavour of what it feels like to be part of our School and go on to work in this thriving, inspiring industry.

Friday 21st June 2024
Held at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden
Taster days provide a welcoming and relaxed environment to get to know Garden Design School and experience what it might be like to study with us. It is also a useful opportunity to meet people who have successfully completed the Garden Design School Diploma and are now working as confident, well-respected professional garden designers.
Taster Days at Garden Design School provide;
- A short history of the School
- Introductions to the principal tutor and the wider Garden Design School team
- A comprehensive guide to the Diploma curriculum
- More information on our beautiful venue
- Real examples of teaching materials
- Opportunity to talk candidly to Garden Design Graduates
- An informal and supportive atmosphere to ask your questions
- An understanding of how we will teach you garden design, by sampling a mini lecture delivered by Robin Templar Williams

Unable to attend?
If you can’t make it to one of our Taster Days, we would be very happy for you to visit us during a typical school day. When you visit, you will meet the Principal Tutor, the current students and sit in on a lecture.
Taster Sessions last approximately two hours and we ask you please to pre-book your place, at least two weeks in advance by contacting Justine Davis on 01380 728788 or emailing us here.
